At the U Zvonu apartments we offer you pleasant and stylish accommodation in a quiet area on the edge of the UNESCO urban conservation area, and a short walk from all the historic buildings and many exhibitions that the unique town of Český Krumlov has to offer. The history of the house dates back to the 17th century, and because it is situated so close to the River Vltava, it was inhabited for many generations exclusively by fishing families. The facade of the building is decorated with a stone bell, which was erected by the first owner of the building to commemorate the year 1719, when the Schwarzenberg family acquired the Český Krumlov dukedom. We offer short-stay and reduced-price long-stay accommodation in six apartments with period interiors and antique furnishings. Every apartment has en-suite facilities - with either a bath or shower, and a hair drier, satellite television and safe. All kitchens have a fridge, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, ceramic hob, kitchen- and tableware and utensils for preparing and consuming food and drinks. The disabled access apartment on the ground floor has a specially fitted toilet and bathroom for wheelchair users. Free internet access (Wi-Fi), hi-quality bed linen, towels, hotel cosmetics and an information pack are naturally supplied as standard. You will also find that the house has a congenial terrace with outdoor seating. The building is monitored for your security by CCTV and fitted with smoke alarms. The historic building is two stories high and has no lift. All apartments and shared indoor areas are non-smoking. Should any of the rooms be contaminated by cigarette smoke, a fine of CZK 1000 will be charged. The price of accommodation does not include breakfast, although if you are interested we would be happy to recommend somewhere you can get a good breakfast close by.
